Get out the picnic basket! On the border between Flanders and the Netherlands is one of Europe's largest tidal areas. The home of the future international Grenspark Groot-Saeftinghe – with an area of more than 4500 hectares – hosts, among others, the Hedwige Prosper Project. Species which have been all but forgotten, such as the western marsh harrier, the avocet, the European spoonbill, the common tern, the common redshank, the wall brown butterfly, the partridge and many others, will get a new lease on life. Would you like to come and take a closer look?
Then come with your group to our info station. More information here (in Dutch).
